It is our passion to support as many families and children in our area, as possible. The directors of ABA Pathways have extensive knowledge of a wide range of SEND and have a wealth of experience providing training in mainstream schools.

ABA Pathways have been contacted by parents and professionals to mentor and train teachers, learning support assistants and early years practitioners, who are supporting children with or without a diagnosis of autism and SEND through a mainstream education setting. Our successful collaborations have ensured that staff are equipped with the knowledge to enable children to reach their potential.

Training can be delivered on a 1:1 or group basis and can be either specific for an individual child or more generic strategies to cover a wider number of children. Staff have reported feeling more confident and encouraged in their roles after taking part in training with ABA Pathways.

We can offer training courses on a number of topics, including, but not limited to:

  • Autism awareness
  • Developing communication
  • Using visual aids
  • Sensory needs
  • Differentiating learning approaches
  • Challenging behaviour

And can offer support and guidance to both professionals and parents for events, such as:

  • Team Around the Family (TAF) meetings
  • One Plans
  • EHCPs
